Welcome to GoCar Serbia. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for using our website and car rental services. By booking or using any of our services, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. General Information
GoCar Serbia provides car hire services across Serbia through our own fleet and trusted rental partners. All bookings made through our website or customer service channels are subject to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Requirements for Renting a Car
To rent a car, the driver must:
– Be at least 21 years old (age may vary by vehicle category)
– Hold a valid driver’s license for at least one year
– Present a valid passport or ID card at pickup
– Provide a valid payment method (debit card, credit card, or cash)
3. Booking and Payment
All bookings must be made online through our official website or authorized channels. Payment can be made using debit card, credit card, or in cash upon vehicle pickup, depending on the rental policy.
No deposit or credit card is required for most bookings unless stated otherwise. Prices include basic insurance, taxes, and standard mileage limits unless specified.
4. Cancellation and Modifications
You may cancel or modify your booking at any time before pickup. GoCar Serbia offers free cancellation with no hidden fees. To cancel or change a booking, contact our support team via email or phone before the rental start time.
5. Vehicle Pickup and Return
The customer must inspect the vehicle with our representative before departure and confirm its condition on the rental agreement. Any damage must be noted before signing.
Vehicles must be returned at the agreed location, date, and time. Late returns may incur additional charges. Fuel level should match the level at pickup unless otherwise specified.
6. Insurance Coverage
All rentals include basic insurance (CDW – Collision Damage Waiver). Optional full protection (Super CDW) may be available for an extra daily fee.
The insurance does not cover damage caused by reckless driving, driving under the influence, off-road driving, or violations of traffic laws.
7. Driver’s Responsibilities
The renter is responsible for the vehicle during the rental period and agrees to:
– Use the car in accordance with traffic laws
– Not allow unauthorized persons to drive
– Return the car in the same condition as received
– Pay for any traffic fines, parking violations, or tolls
– Inform GoCar Serbia immediately in case of accident or damage
8. Fuel Policy
Our standard policy is “same-to-same.” The vehicle should be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup. If the level is lower, a refueling fee may apply.
9. Mileage Policy
Standard rentals include unlimited mileage unless stated otherwise in the booking. Some special offers or local rentals may include mileage limits specified in the contract.
10. Cross-Border Travel
Cross-border travel outside Serbia is only permitted with prior written authorization from GoCar Serbia. Additional insurance or documentation fees may apply for international trips.
11. Liability and Damage
The renter is liable for all damages not covered by insurance. In the case of accident, theft, or technical issue, the customer must immediately contact GoCar Serbia and local authorities if required.
12. Roadside Assistance
24/7 roadside assistance is available for all active rentals. In case of breakdown, flat tire, or other issue, call the number provided in your rental confirmation.
13. Late Returns and No-Show Policy
Delays exceeding two hours without notice are considered a “no-show.” The reservation may be cancelled, and no refund will be issued. Late returns may be charged at the daily rental rate plus an administrative fee.
14. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal data is collected and processed according to our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties beyond what is necessary to provide the service.
15. Force Majeure
GoCar Serbia is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as extreme weather, natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.
16. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Belgrade, Serbia.
